Without trig. Draw an altitude GJ from G to BC. This triangle is similar to and a 3:4:5 like ABC. So its sides are 1.5 (CJ), 2 (GJ), and 2.5. From there you have enough to calculate the areas of CGI and AGH and can do the overall area subtraction.
